I have just repaired an automata that I made in way back 1999. It only had a minor fault (a broken control wire)
It was commissioned by Leamington Spa art Gallery and Museum as a reference to the Old Pump Rooms, which now house the Gallery.
People visited the Pump Rooms to take the health giving water and undergo all kinds of strange treatments, involving wierd machines. This is my take on it..
