Steampunk

I recently discovered Steampunk, a movement which embraces art, fashion,music, literature and film.
It's about re-inventing the technology and fashion of the Victorian era, just think of Jules Verne. I loved the imagery an was inspired to make my own automata.
I spent one month making it, using found objects such as old alarm clocks, car inner tubes, empty oil cans and fencing wire. I kept a photographic record of my progress which I later made into a book 'A Steampunk Romance', which is available from Blurb.com.
