Evolution

Evolution was commissioned by Falmouth Art Gallery for their exhibition on Charles Darwin in 2009.I created two different scenes on a turntable.
The first scene is set in the jungle where a monkey is using a bone as a tool to open a coconut.
The second scene is set in a bedsit, where a man is using a hammer and chisel to open a can of baked beans.
The man looks very much like the monkey
